Founded in 1978, Sertoma Speech & Hearing Centers is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to speech and hearing care. All our patients, from newborns to senior adults, receive the finest diagnostic services, treatment counseling, rehabilitation, and one-on-one personal care. Our mission—to serve all who need us—distinguishes us in the speech and hearing healthcare marketplace.
We are a nonprofit, a 501 ©(3). Compared to our for-profit competitors, our worldview is different: We focus on you, not sales contests and quarterly profits.
We are an efficient, modern nonprofit that earns its way. As a 501 (c)(3), we are structured to concentrate on you, our mission since 1978.
The income we earn from professional services is reinvested directly into our operations, advanced training, and new technologies. Not a single penny goes to sales commissions, contests, or bonuses.
"I travel here because I have complete trust and get their utmost care. Christy and Marilyn go above and beyond. Christy's knowledge of my hearing and treatment is exceptional. Marilyn helps me with my scheduling and any problems I have with absolute professionalism. I know I am in good hands with them. I wouldn't go anywhere else, and I would advise anyone to see them for treatment. They are the Best!!!" —Joan F.
If you're shopping for speech or hearing services, compare our clinical team's credentials and experience with those of other candidates. Only audiologists have the clinical skills to interpret the results of hearing screenings and hearing evaluations rigorously and fit and fine-tune hearing aids. We do not employ technicians or hearing-
aid dispensers.
"We’re very pleased with Dr. Tom Wardzala as he goes out of his way to assure that we’re satisfied. He’s the best!" —Anonymous response to quality-of-service questionnaire
Why is choice important? It ensures you get the right features for your hearing challenges.
We're not a manufacturer's hearing-aid franchise or big-box retailer that offers only one brand. Offering only one brand of hearing aids risks getting the features you need. No single brand of hearing aids is a universal solution. Don't be fooled. A choice of hearing-aid brands is vital.
"Sertoma Speech & Hearing Centers has always treated me well, no matter what the problem, explaining what and how to handle my hearing aids." —Anonymous response to quality-of-service questionnaire
We don't run ads announcing, "Wanted: 30 people with hearing loss to evaluate new digital hearing aids!"
We take another approach: We respect you. You're welcome to try our hearing-aid brands and models whenever you want.
If you have a hearing loss that needs treatment (not all do), your audiologist will discuss your treatment options to find the best solution that fits your budget.
"Dr. Kreps was highly knowledgeable and helped me answer my questions satisfactorily. The outcome of my test result was an honest response and I am very satisfied with Dr. Kreps’s suggestion." —Gul N.
